Space to Repent

Space to Repent

Revelation 2:20 - 22 (KJV)

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

This scripture implies that there is a type of Jezebel, as the original Jezebel occurs in the Old Testament books of 1st and 2nd Kings. The Jezebel mentioned here was a Zidonian woman. She was the wife of King Ahab, who killed the prophets of the Lord and replaced them with the Prophets of Ba'al. They were confronted by the Prophet Elijah at Mount Carmel where he reigned down fire from Heaven. The fire consumed the altar and their sacrifice. Elijah then had those false prophets killed. Then there is the issue of the taking the vineyard of and killing Naboth the Jezreelite in the valley of Jezreel, close to Mt. Carmel which is known as "God's vineyard".

What does this mean for us today?

Revelation 2:22 (KJV)

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

We must ask the questions: Who is this woman, and how can this be fulfilled?

We just had a very contentious Presidential election where much corruption was revealed in all areas of government and media and especially with the democratic candidate who incidentally is a coven witch. In her released emails during the last days of the election, revealed demonic rituals on a Caribbean island involving "pizza gate"(pedophile sex), "spirit cooking" and "spirit cakes" (eating things sacrificed to idols). These activities or actions may constitute (spiritual) fornication and adultery, which would cause a line to be drawn as to which side of the spiritual battlefield each person is on. It then becomes about those who are aligned with her, and their actions. We are not just talking about the higher ups, the 1%, or even those in positions of power, but the masses as well. Guilt by association. These people are being defined as they continue to protest, criticize, and oppose the republican candidate who did win. It is becoming apparent which side of this line these people are on as they repeatedly protest and claim "he's not my President"...

Then there is the issue of the "vineyard". Just prior to the inauguration, 70 nations assembled together for the purpose of usurping and dividing the land of Israel. Then President elect Trump called Britain. They, along with the Baltic states, were in disagreement with the proposal and no further action was taken. The conference closed days prior to the President's inauguration.

Isaiah ch. 5:7 declares that the house of Israel is God's vineyard. The 70 nations that gathered to divide Israel was an attempt to take the "vineyard" (Israel) today, just as Jezebel of old did with Naboth long ago. This event appeared to be orchestrated by Obama and you can see a dotted line between him, Kerry, and Clinton. This issue does not appear to be over and will likely be set before the UN in the near future. The dispute over the ownership of Israel and Jerusalem just might be a dispute over the deed or title given as a scroll to the Lamb that was slain (Jesus Christ), and the opening of the seals in Revelation.

Days after his inauguration, the President signed an executive order banning Immigrants from 7 Muslim countries in hopes to curtail Muslim extreme terrorism. They are targeting Christians frequently throughout Europe, and this ban may help to stave off the same from occuring here in the US. If we investigate into the Muslim faith, we can see the historical connection to Ba'al, which brings us back to the Mt. Carmel incident between the prophet Elijah and the prophets of Ba'al. The Jezebel of old at that time was replacing the religion of Jehovah with Ba'al worship, just as our nation is trying to replace the Christian faith upon which our country was founded with the Muslim faith. This executive order was met with protests, criticism, violence and legal challenges.

Is this just a coincidence that these events are unfolding the way that they are?

These challenges appear to be intended to render the President's polices powerless and illegal. This, coupled the with ongoing narrative that Russia interfered with the election, seems to be an attempt to undermine the authority of our newly elected president. Also, the resignation of National Security Advisor retired General Flynn seems to be due to phone calls that were made to Russia during the election campaign. There is now concern of leaks of national security, and growing contention between this administration and the intelligence community.

Interestingly enough, his resignation was also followed by a tweet from Hillary Clinton stating "what goes around, COMETS around", which is a reference back to "Pizza Gate". Flynn was one of the more prominent people close to Trump who questioned the peculiarities of the Pizza Gate story. Was this a sacrifice and a message sent to Trump from the "Deep State"? The Deep State is a body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy. We also find that the Attorney General may be investigated for allegedly communicating with Russia during the campaign, and we wonder just how long Trump's administration is going to last.

Summary

With this election, there has been a change/correction that many Christian believers attribute to prayer, and acknowledge Trump winning as an upset or a miracle. However, with so many that oppose this and seek to constantly delegitimize this election, and with so much resistance, opposition, and the many legal challenges that present the possibility of looming impeachment, we just don't know how long this will continue or what this change represents.

Is it a reprieve as many suggest?

Based on the scriptures above, I submit that this time represents a "separating of the sheep and the goats", and more importantly, a "space to repent".

Are we sheep or are we goats?

Jesus said in John 10:27 that His sheep hear his voice, are known by Him, and follow Him. Do we really hear Him?

Having a "space to repent" should cause repentance, and the realization that we are all sinners in need of God's saving grace.

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

With the understanding that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no man comes to the Father but by Him (John 14:6), and that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, He gives us the way to salvation!

John 3:16 (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross, was resurrected, and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father with power. He's waiting, patiently, to change our lives. He wants to fill us with His Spirit and to forgive us of our sins. If we can just simply humble ourselves, bow our knees, surrender ourselves, and ask Him for forgiveness, He WILL save us!

1 John 1:9 (KJV)

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So, what is it that we have here?

We have an opportunity!

Romans 13:12 (KJV)

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Open your eyes, we've been given a SPACE to REPENT!
